The Limetree NETWORK II is a high-quality network player, also known as an audio renderer, that can play music from streaming services and local storage media in studio master quality. It is connected to the network with a LAN cable or via WLAN. It also has a USB port for connecting hard drives and other USB storage media. In addition to an analogue line-level output, the network player also offers a headphone connection with excellent sound.

Streaming-Modul

The LINDEMANN streaming platform offers playback in studio master quality. Via LAN connection, but also wirelessly via WLAN. Thanks to WPS, connecting to the WLAN router is child's play. The ARM core high-performance processor and the web update feature also make the platform absolutely future-proof.

App

The LINDEMANN app is available for Android and iOS, both for smartphones and tablets. It enables playback of all important streaming services, music servers and USB storage media. The album-oriented programming impresses with smooth browsing and simple, intuitive operation.

Technologically, the Limetree NETWORK II offers a whole range of highlights: with the ES9038 Hypersteam2-DAC, one of the currently best digital-to-analog converters is used, clocked by a MEMS femto clock of the highest precision. The result is a particularly transparent and at the same time "analogue" sound quality.

The included IR remote control not only allows you to adjust the volume, but also to navigate in playlists or on a CD.

As an additional feature, the Limetree NETWORK II offers volume control in the analog range, which is implemented with a resistance network. The usual digital volume control is completely omitted. Especially at medium and low volumes, this solution offers more details and fullness.

CD_USB_Extern

The Limetree NETWORK II supports the connection of external CD-ROM drives via USB (e.g. Apple USB SuperDrive) and is transformed into a top-class CD player with little effort or expense! The drive is recognized automatically and CD playback can be controlled with the LINDEMANN app or the IR remote control. The data on the CD is read into a memory and then "streamed".

Headphone

A high-quality headphone amplifier is installed in the Limetree NETWORK II, which can drive headphones from 16 ohms. Amplifiers or active loudspeakers can be connected via the line output on the rear. The volume can be adjusted independently for both outputs.

Bluetooth2

The Limetree NETWORK II has a Bluetooth function that enables music to be played wirelessly, for example from smartphones or tablets. The A2DP Bluetooth audio transmission protocol guarantees the highest sound quality.

Multiroom

A special highlight is the multi-room function, which makes it possible to operate several streamers in different rooms separately or coupled. It is conveniently controlled using the LINDEMANN app.

Technology

The circuitry of the Limetree NETWORK II is - around the powerful streaming platform - optimized for the best sound properties. All music files are post-synchronized with a high-precision femtoclock: the data processed in this way is free of "jitter", the most common cause of poor digital reproduction. The sound is open, natural and follows the recording in the best sense of the word. One of the best amplifier modules on the market is used as the output stage, which as a headphone amplifier not only sets standards in terms of measurement technology.

A high-quality "medical grade" plug-in power supply unit is used for the power supply, which ensures a particularly high level of isolation from disturbances in the power supply system. Together with the complex filtering in the device and special voltage regulators, a particularly low-interference power supply with noise levels below 10µV could be implemented.
